This three days of yoga workshop will be provided by Atsuro who has been seriously practicing and studying Ashtanga Yoga with yoga master Tim Miller for over fourteen years.
1) Jan 26 : Mysore
2) Jan 27 : Mysore | Floating Vinyasa Workshop
3) Jan 28 : Led Primary class + 30min Soundbath
(All sessions followed with complimentary Tea provided by Bootea)

2-B) Workshop 11:30am to 1:30pm (2 hours)
[FLOATING VINYASA]
Learn the principles of Floating Vinyasa through “Surya Namaskar”, “Jump back & Jump through” and “Asana transition” in Ashtanga Yoga. Atsuro will guide you through stages, detailing how to create body strength and engage the Bandhas that allow for floating. You will gain a deeper understanding of anatomical alignment as well as the movements connecting the breath and the body. This class will be a great opportunity for you to witness the internal body, to feel and activate the Bandhas, and to observe the external form that Atsuro will demonstrate to help deepen your practice.
3) Jan 28 Sunday 9:00am to 11:20pm
Led Primary class followed by Soundbath
[YOGA CHIKITSA: Primary Series]
"There will be a session of the Primary series led by Atsuro. After the class, relaxing Soundbath meditation (30min) will be provided by Tyng with complimentary tea!"
Yoga Chikitsa is the Sanksrit name for the primary series and can be translated as yoga therapy. Therefore practicing this series purifies and heals the body. Atsuro will lead you full primary series using the traditional Sanskrit count with his effective therapeutic adjustment and verbal cues to deepen your practice.

ATSURO CHIBA
Born and raised in Japan, Atsuro started his yoga practice in his mid twenties after moving to San Diego in 2002, where he strongly connected with Ashtanga Yoga. Atsuro has been seriously practicing and studying Ashtanga Yoga with Tim Miller for over fourteen years. Atsuro has completed 4th Series under the guidance of Tim Miller in 2015, and he is currently learning the 5th Series. Tim has given Atsuro the position to teach and assist in Mysore classes for the past ten years, which has allowed him to continuously deepen and advance his knowledge and teaching experience. Furthermore, Atsuro has been assisting Tim Miller’s Teacher Training where participants gather from all over the world for many years.
Atsuro’s teaching style is to face each student with compassion, and guide their awareness so that the most beneficial practice unfold for each of them. His adjustments effectively and therapeutically correct asana and guide students to a deeper level of self awareness.
He teaches workshops in the United States, Japan, Europe and Asia. His daily Ashtanga Yoga practice continues to change and shape his life in a positive way. Atsuro is grateful to be able to share his knowledge of the practice, and appreciates Ashtanga Yoga as a wonderful science of the mind, body, and spirit.
